Justin has more than 10 years of experience in the African Agribusiness sector. In roles from Organized Agriculture to the Chief Executive of a Fund Manager specializing in small-holder farm development, Justin has extensive experience initiating, developing, assessing and growing opportunities.
As the CEO of Akwandze Agricultural Finance, Justin more than doubled available funding from Impact Focused funders, deployed the funds thereby tripling the loan book and achieved record distributions to investors. Through his leadership, the deployment of these funds created over 27 000 economic inclusion opportunities for small-holder farmers and Community Based Joint Ventures. These opportunities created over 1 000 new jobs and sustained approximately 3 800 existing agricultural jobs.
Justin completed his undergraduate studies at Rhodes University and received a MComm (Economics) from the University of Cape Town. He completed his MBA the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
